Occasionally we'll discuss our knobs. The odd knob pick has turned up in here now and again...

How's your knob?

 

I just Armor All'ed it so it's pretty slick at the moment

Then answer it from a personal perspective

 

My knob is big, black, and shiney.

 

Careful, you don’t want to get hairy knob disease

 

I can keep up with the shaving. As long as it doesn't go plaid.

 

Totally Freaking Love it but then I have had Manual Transmission in everything I have owned except 1 truck (Tundra)

 

It's black with bright red veins down each side and a weird shelfy tip.

Soo... terrifying

So I guess my answer is "terrifying"

 

Is it normal for your knob to have numbers on it?

 

3rd gear above 4200rpms with the skinny buried into the floor with a quick crisp shift into 4th..... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

 

I can sit there in neutral letting the truck warm up for however long i want. Put it in first and 2-3 seconds after takeoff its a distinct click. It almost sounds like a relay clicking. Its not annoying or anything, just wondering what it might be controlling

 

Is your foot completely off the clutch pedal and maybe on the dead pedal when the click occurs?

 

Completely off the clutch for sure, probably on the dead pedal. I should try to get a video today
