So I think I’ll be purchasing this bumper within the next few days. Someone. Hit my front bumper and I think I can salvage the rest to make this bumper work!

My only question is. I know the bumper and flares have to be cut. How does the fender liner work? Will it be cut and be secured? Or do I have e to eliminate it and have a gaping hole?

Sorry to hear that happened but there's always the upside.

Cut the fender liner where the bumper ends, that's how we did it. You can secure it to the bumper with some zip ties if needed, we will have an install video soon.

How are the BD fogs mounted and could you squeeze 2 of them in the same opening?

Any news/link on the video? I placed an order a couple of weeks ago so it'd be awesome to have a reference specific to this bumper unless its basically the same as say a CBI install.

Will this work with a Pelfrey front skid?

I gotta say, that was a lot harder than I was anticipating. The holes didn't line up very well, and I had to grind part of my frame and bumper to make it fit flush. It's early production though so no big surprise really, I love the look and feel of it and overall very happy. What are you doing for license mount?

Hey man, got any pictures of what you had to grind out? I should have mine soon. They haven't given me any shipping info yet though....

I don't have much. The fit was super tight, I had to drill the holes a little wider on the bumper to make them line up correctly. There was two pieces of metal on the driver side that I grinded down, both on the bumper and the frame. I took a pic but it's not very helpful without me removing the bumper. Even with grinding down quite a bit it still doesn't sit flush

They contacted me and told me both the top mounting brackets were off on each side and they sent me new brackets with instructions on cutting and welding. Did you get the new brackets that needed to be welded on? I haven't installed mine yet so I dont know how my fit will be.

They actually fixed that before they mailed it, he had called me and explained why it was delayed. The holes were still just slightly off though, so I simply drilled them wider to fix it.

This is a very early production bumper, it's completely to be expected while they work things out and get everything perfect.

    Edit:
As a correction it wasn't the top bolts that had to be redrilled, it was the lower ones. The top passenger was just fine and the top driver side was the one with the two metal pieces obstructing it from sitting flush

The bracket is too low plus it did not reach back far enough to sit flush to the frame.

That's not quite the same issue that I had with mine. My truck had metal welds sticking out from the plate there that were in the way as well as an addition flat metal panel

Edit: the holes lined up on mine just fine on the top, my only issue was the drivers side top and all of the bottom bolts. it's a 2019 TRD OR if it makes any difference.

Well.... This has me worried some.. I think the top bracket not being flush is easy to work around but having to potentially chop and re-weld stuff doesn't sound good at all.

Did you guys powder coat your bumpers or just prime and rattle can them?
