Forgive me if I missed this in a previous post, but what about non-Crawl Control vehicles (Limited trim, etc)?

Yes I already did it and wrote the code in the tacoma first. But it's not released.

No options for trucks missing it as of right now.

I guess the ECT button was a no go for that sort of implementation... even of we toggle it on to tow.

If a guy was completely sick of his Tacoma and traded it for a Tundra could he exchange the tune software for the Tundra version?

I believe crawl control has 5 selections , is there enough room in and can there be 5 tunes in/on the ECU ?

Also would this disable crawl control ?

Not everyone has CC, it would be nice to have the option to use ECT to change from base to performance for example(or whatever other option someone chooses) as limited as it is, better than nothing lol.

Is there a reason why ECT wouldn't work?

I assume it will still take a few hundred miles for each tune to settle in, or will the new tune you can use with any octane fuel make that change?

Driving a bit today. 91 performance on 34's, 4.88's. Unless doing highway speeds, shifting up and down is awful! Much better if not on the highway to be in S mode with ect enabled. Caviot to that is to remember when in a parking lot at very slow speeds to turn off ect or it is like a bucking bronco, no matter how you try to feather it!

Awesome. The lack of cruise control support for adaptive has killed this truck for me. I've tried and tried and just cant love it. I cant pedal it on the interstate and this thing locking itself in 4th gear and not shifting at 75mph with cruise on is ridiculous.

I agree Oscar I, I live near Bradenton, FL and am constantly in stop and go traffic and haven't found a tune yet that doesn't buck or try to launch into the car ahead of me. The first tune I tried was the 93 Performance. The power increase was nice but the tip in was so bad, I only ran one tank through it. I went to the 87 Performance and the same thing, its a bitch controlling the throttle at crawl speeds and really anywhere under that 45 mph zone. My wife hates driving the truck now. I might have to go back to the stock tune soon and wait for the transmission update to come out. I havent tried a 91 tune yet cause all I see around here for octanes are 87, 89, and 93. I am excited for their new maps to come out so the ECU will adjust automatically based on the octane.

If the non adaptive cruise would work with the tune shift points I'd be fine but ad it sits I need to change something

Have you tried the non adaptive cruise?
Could there be modifications your truck has that would make it shift less than ideal for the current setup? (gears, lift, larger wheels, etc). All of that must be considered.

And all of that is being worked on. But it takes time, it's honestly not something that can just be fixed in a few weeks.

The adaptive cruise section is going to be much more time consuming due to code involved.

For people who do not like performance version throttle, a modified version is already being made.

Because 34’s Honey. Those r big!

4.88’s work best up to 33” tires.

Should’ve done 5.29’s with that size tire and the double overdrive that comes with the Taco

I am going to run out and flash to it now. I've ran two tanks through on 87 Performance. I'd think that if it was going to mellow out, that it would have by now.
