    1. I actually like the stock GY Wrangler Adventure Kevlar tires ( no snow experience yet so that may change). Quiet. Good in rain. Good in mud. Don't pick up many rocks.

    2. I get the advertised fuel efficiency.

For all the wailing and gnashing of teeth in here over the nearly endless list of trouble people have this the turd gen, what are your unpopular opinions on things you think Toyota did right but no one else apparently thinks so.

I think third gens are easily the best looking Tacoma generation, and the only current midsize truck that still looks like a truck.

This. It's not the worst segment by far (C'mon Tesla, that's not a f'ing SUV no matter what way you look at it), but I'm getting tired of everything turning into a Jetson's car. Ford Escape, Ford Explorer? Cars. Honda CR-V, don't get me started. Jeep Cherokee? Jeep... wtf is that thing called, the Compass or no it's the Renegade. :annoyed:

Stock Wrangler are great tires for what they are, which is why Toyota has been dedicated to them. Much more durable than people think, and way better in winter than a K02.

People just repeat shit they read here, which is mainly to help them mentally justify buying a better looking (more aggressive looking) tire without even giving the wranglers’s chance. The default “I can’t think for myself” type post here is “why did Toyota put these garbage street tires on this Pro?....I need 10ply STT Pros right away”.......then they buy some bro tires and proceed to drive to work and tootle down groomed gravel roads in 4x4 thinking they are a true bro.

Stock wranglers will pack with mud, but that’s about the only downside. I swapped mine for K02, but the only noticeable upgrade was looks, and the winter performance was a huge downgrade.

Power. The Tacoma has plenty of power for normal driving.

Seat Comfort. Fit my ass fine.

Stock Headlights. They light up the road at night.

A little throttle and they cleaned better than I had expected them to.

I've had my TRDOR for 3 years now and I still feel that I made the right choice in buying it.
I did have the transmission TSB done but other than that I'm 100% happy with it.:D

Since I don't own, or drive one regularly. I'd say it's the best small truck on the market.

I thought it was unpopular opinions and it doesn’t seem that many people have had issues. I apologize, I didn’t mean for it to be off topic.
