Eon blue had them on the back too. Doing the same.

Dumb question that I think I already know the answer to but these don’t come with instructions - military wrap to the front of the truck, not the back, correct? I ask because I’m not quite lining up I want to make sure it’s not on backwards before I go further.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Military wrap always goes forward, 1st gen leafs are uneven too so that's a good hint

I've had luck with putting seafoam through a vacuum line. I think it came back up 15psi afterwards. Easy to do before you start digging too much.

Is this a wet test? Looks like the rings are shot, or there is scoring on the walls, or exhaust valve issues.

Either way, I'd be rebuilding it.

This is a 3.4 I assume? Might be leaking out the plug hole. Aluminum heads are known for that. I had to helicoil mine in situ a few months ago. No problem since. Might be worth a shot.

In this case, soak the cylinder in Marvel Mystery Oil. I have had good results with seized parts like rings

And shortly thereafter realized I should have listened more closely when he told me which goes on the driver's side. These things are too ruttin heavy to move around much.

Yeah right now I am wondering which goes on which side. I think the square brackets all are on the driver's, and the ones with the angled brackets on the passenger's side, right?
    In other words, this..

The front most mount is wider anyways, they wont fit they way you had it.

Unless your and my truck's front cab mounts are drastically different , there is no way the other one would fit. It would be poking the driver's tire hard enough to bend it, just sitting there.

Picked up some 5 spoke 4runner wheels off craigslist today:D Love the look of these wheels, very simple and i think they’re gonna look great on the truck.

Your rear crossmember by the gas tank should fit inbetween the two rearmost mounts on the drivers slider.

To find those without the finish all boogered up is a rarity. Nice score. The center caps can be spray bombed to freshen them up.
