    Any of the real stuff, mass loaded vinyl, you won't need a lot of. If you use the pipe insulation shit it doesnt matter it's garbage and will fall off anyway so use as much as you like

    I should also say it matters where you are doing it. Floor and roof i would completely cover in dynamat. Doors I would do whats needed

    I used some of that pipe crap on the back wall. It wont fall off, but it is useless.

    Roof should only need a tiny bit in the center, it's like putting you finger on a ringing bell, you don't have to completely cover the bell to stop the ringing

    My buddy did it on a VW and the first hot day it was all sitting at the bottom of the door, it didn't do shit either. Maybe sandwiched in between trim it would hold better

    I just cant see why Dynamat is like $50 for 3 sq feet. Seems like a racket to me.

    I saw saabkyle on youtube do his whole 240 in secondskin. Holy mother of earth that stuff is the most expensive of them all. He had to have dropped $2k in deadener by itself

    I dunno why he did a whole drift retrofit car in deadener, id have done the heat repellant stuff. That kid is strange, but anyone that wastes time restoring a 90s GMC Jimmy has to be I , entertaining to watch tho

    He lives like 30 mins from me. Both him and his wife have doctorates in pharmacy from a small private school here in NC. He is strange, that S10 crewcab thing belongs in the dumpster.

    I dunno, I was only there for the cleanup, doesnt matter really it didn't work at all for the month and a half it held on. Duct insulation is not mass backing, it just ended up being extra garbage in a door.
