Fuck. Busted the weld off the nut when I installed my swing arm. Any danger in driving with the swing arm fully installed except not screwed in at the bottom? Going to be busy for a while...

I would bust the rest of that chicken shit weld off and run it back on and go look for a nylock nut till I could get it tacked back on.

I've welded a couple of those nuts back on. The nylock thing is exactly what I would suggest as well.

I really like the strap winding thing. That's super useful. Like, it's going to be a thing on my bumper.

    One thing I have learned...

I dont lose tools. That whole 10mm sockets always disappear...nah not an issue for me.

But the fing nuts and bolts on the other hand....this time of course its one of the driveshaft nuts while doing a carrier bearing. Literally zipped the damn thing off and 2 seconds later lost it. Not to be found anywhere. And of course driveshaft stuff is 11mm so good luck finding it anywhere local

Does anyone have access to VAGCOM diagnostic software? Need to shut off my EGR valve and adjust the fuel rate for these larger injectors

Do you know if you need the full bown VAGCOm software or does the "VAGCOM-lite" work?

Does the lite allow you to do some programming and change some parameters?

Provide an update on road conditions if you can. I was just up there on 7030 trying to make it to Kelly Butte Trailhead for a hike but ran into patches of wet snow up to the running boards that only got worse with elevation. I wasn’t prepared for snow and eventually called it quits and turned around.

Something tells me the only update will either be "well that was fun" or "well fuck, I just walked 22 miles. Please help me"

Yup I was up there this morning, was by myself, turned around after I was breaking ground. No way to make the gate alone
