    Hard drive crashed in my last lap top... it needs a new 50 one to not be a paper weight. I lost pretty much everything with exception of some baby stuff.

    That happened to my mom on her ipad. I called Apple customer support. We had to jump through hoops to prove she was her. Send a pic of her license and stuff. But they finally gave her the password. Not sure if yours can be done that way.
