Had a crack break in to my truck last night through the rear sliding window.

I leave the camper shell unlocked and they climbed back there and smashed the rear sliding window on the shell and then climbed through the back window into the truck.

They then proceed to take break open my locked glove box.

Does anyone know the part number for the front door of the glove box? and lock? Pictured below: 57695045453__0F79DDDF-02AA-4BB2-A9DF-81BECF8352B3.jpg

All the more reason not to lock your glove box. Crackheads don't give a shit about how much stuff they break to get $.37 cents

I wouldn't reprogram the garage door just yet. Instead I'd lay a trap and sit inside with my DP-12. In my state as long as you're in any vehicle or structure on your property, you have the right to defend it and I'd simply arrange for the criminals to have their one and only meeting with God. Most of our laws serve to protect criminals. This is one of the few laws that protects the honest, hard working, law abiding, tax payer.

Here locally we just had a case where a drunk guy tried to go in the wrong house. It was the next door neighbors house. The owner of the house felt threatened and wanted to protect his family, and in doing so he killed the drunk. The homeowner was not charged with anything.

In my state you have to run away, not supposed to defend your property. I think it's bullshit and would not turn and run if someone broke in. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Hit up a junkyard for your glove box. You'll save hundreds.

I left San Diego in 1992 after 18 years because the state became a huge Nanny State and is even worse now!!. I couldn't hang anymore. I don't miss California. Liberals ruined the State. Like they ruined my home state of NJ..(I left at 17 never to return.)

There are still a few southwestern states worth living in... AZ is becoming the new CA, so stay away from there however.

You think that’s bad, you should see how much the rear storage bins in a double cab cost

And I left California I moved to Las Vegas. That's what I stayed until about 13 years ago. I cashed out when the house prices went through the roof and move to South Carolina on the beach. Myrtle Beach reminds me of San Diego in the 70s. Not a whole lot of people no Metropolis yet. And the state takes stays out of our everyday lives. No concealed straw carry here but people can carry a loaded weapon in their car Within Reach without a permit. No mandatory helmet laws for bikers or kids on bicycles. And the list of leave me alone goes on and on here in South Carolina. They let the parents here decide what their kids will wear not the state

Awesome... used to go to North Myrtle Beach every year as a kid growing up... with your comment, it’s now on my list of places to check out again for retirement relocation.

You can still buy a $120,000 new house here. Property taxes consist of couch change.

There is a property tax on any boats Vehicles airplanes anything registered that has to be paid every year. But when you buy a car there are no sales taxes. Just a road tax of $500 (even on $100,000 automobile). The government pretty much stays out of our lives.

No mandatory recycling because the trash companies separate the trash when the truck comes in. I pretty much recycle grass clippings and a lot of vegetation. We can take that to the dump paper bags. Taking your own trash to the dump is free. We have to pay for trash pick up otherwise at about $350 a year.

Realize that South Carolina it's not exactly the best state to brag about as like West Virginia, South Carolina it's not a state Northerners Run to. The reputation is about Hillbillies, Republicans, and ignorant people and I'd like to keep it that way. Let the Northerners go to North Carolina or South to Florida.
