Yeah same here, parents are from way up North in Luzon. San Nicolas and Aparri-Cagayan. Very Ilocano.

I know a mismatch of both Tagalog and Ilocano, but I find myself knowing more Tagalog since that’s what more common around here.

If you’ve ever watched 24 Oras the news show, their intro jingle is stolen straight from a Bay Area news station KPIX from the 1990’s.

Tagalog and Ilocano are super prevalent here, but you are looked at like a dirty foot gypsy if you are Visayan here lol.

damn I just noticed that this last episode of the Grand Tour was the series finale, I guess Amazon finally decided they were spending too much money on it lol. That sucks though

What? They're not stopping. Next season is a season full of specials instead of the studio/tent stuff.

They're switching to all special style episodes rather than the studio tent deal, kinda a bummer theyre gonna cut that stuff though. Clarkson was pretty upset about it

Ah ok I see, weird because the description of this last episode says "In the series finale of the Grand Tour..." makes it sound like it's doneso

Yeah Conversation Street/the news section of Top Gear was some of my favorite stuff.

Really happy to see that MotorTrend is picking up all the seasons of Old Top Gear to stream. Definitely gonna binge that.

Some of them (the episodes) were kind of boring/lame but overall it was a really good show, although I guess I can understand why Amazon wants to make it more about the special style episode layouts.

Yeah they pretty much got ride of all that this season.

Still not as good as top gear for the studio stuff. But the stuff they have put out now is just as entertaining as before
