Curious on how much you paid... I’ve got a set that’s just sitting around in my garage that I’m probably going to sell.

Looks like you got more space between your pinch weld and slider than I had.

I know the feeling of success! Then I see the other one still sitting there...

I found a salvage yard that had a storage building chock full of sets of seats. I got BMW gray leather, 6 way power, lumbar, and heated for $240. Passenger seat had a couple of nicks in the leather surface, but not to hurt the leather. Wiring was a bitch, because the driver seat had memory functions. Avoid the memory sh** and the wiring is simple. I made my own mounting brackets that just bolted to the tracks. Biggest caution is that most all of other seats will sit higher than the Toyotas. Probably why they are uncomfortable to begin with. Also big high bolsters on the sides of the seats are like flossing your a$$ crack when you get in a pickup.

Search on Youtube for South Main Auto's video on repairing blown out spark plug threads. Big tap coated in lots of red n' tacky to catch the chips.

I thought that too but it's kind of like how some companies offer sliders without a kickout feature...some people aren't going to be doing the Rubicon with them so they don't really need the whole shebang.

Mine are about an inch too long and nearly rub my tires when I turn, one of these days I need to figure out a way to cut them down a bit

You get the pass side on before dark?

At work we use this stuff called stick wax when tapping aluminum in the lathe. Its a bit stickier than grease. Can be had at fastenal.

I was going to mention the same thing but didn't want to go to the trouble of screenshotting it, but yeah...something looks amiss there, might just be the cell phone photo quality though

Potentially, and in a perfect world I was going to build them to cover pretty much wheel to wheel (as close as possible anyway) to assist entry to the cab, bed, and rack. I have plans....

But I got a great deal, could not pass it up.

They'll still do 90% of what a "complete" set of sliders are supposed to do, just don't go sliding down any boulders or squeezing through any tight rock canyons lol. But for dropping off a ledge and hitting a rock or bumping up against one on a tight turn they should do just fine.
