DeAutoLED interior lights kit review

Any updates on that 29mm replacement bulb?

 

I consulted with the team. They said another few weeks as it will match the brightness of 31mm and color temperature but I will also update this thread with information when available. Thanks

Yes I checked. They are still in production but it will be as bright as 31mm and brightest on market! And it will not flicker or cause issues. The team has had emails about similar looking LEDs to ours not acting the same from Amazon so I do apologize for this wait but it is going to be great setup. Thanks for your patience. The team shipped out ALL THE 29MM - they are JUST AS BRIGHT AS 31MM and brighter than most if not all 29mm on the market.

They are now included in all the kits:

Finally got the 29mm dome light from DeAuto. Went in super easily like its supposed to, but the color is different from all their other interior LEDs, and my map lights have begun to flicker like crazy.

Im over it at this point. I wouldnt recommend this kit to anyone. I may put the stock bulbs back in if it gets annoying enough.

 

Sorry to hear that. It could have been from different diode stock. The ones that go out now all match so what I can only assume 2 models were sent out at different times without the team knowing. This was human error.

Simply email them and they will get the rest of the LEDs matching for you: Support@deAutoLED.com - I sent them an email too as they might have your forum name on file and can send it out Monday for you.

I was able to confirm with team that I was right in what I suspected. They sent it out 2 different times so did not test diodes - slightly different color temps will clash but they are sending new one with perfect match so it is all bright clean white. Sorry for inconvenience again.

Anyone ordering now 100% has all matching LEDs.

There is no doubt you make great products and that is good. But it is not always for everyone. Many like the OEM look/housing and many like another. It is just how it is.

What I used for the interior. Fantastic!

 

I just read he had issues with festoon fitment, so I offered a different solution. We are all here for the same reason...performance increase
BTW, Stage 1 is not suppose to compare to $70 7443 LEDs...it's a budget kit

We only sell bright LEDs as it is normally what people want. We feel the high contrast + visibility in the sun is a great feature of these 7443 we offer that people will spend a bit extra to achieve.

It's brighter and more efficient than stock, all while keeping it at an awesome price point. Not a hard concept to understand IMO.
Is it the brightest? Nope.(and never claimed to be).. That's why different stages were created.
You make great products, not knocking them. In fact, I'm going to support you right now by ordering some 7443's. I'd like to test them myself

Yes testing against stage 2 would be great. It was only tested against stage 1 - please email Support@deAutoLED.com and let them know - they might have other things you can test too if you are interested. As I personally like your company and what you make. It is always good work and impressive. I do see you are using VLEDs so I know it is not a reflection of anything you created.

 

If you actually read about the total tail upgrade by Meso you would know it’s not just about brightness, it’s more then that. You choosing to take shots at him and his product on this forum will not end well for you I predict. There are other better ways to conduct business.

Not at all - trust me. I have a lot of respect for meso and what he offers. This is not about anything he has created.

My main focus was to help the customer and the team already have the new LED ready to go to the customer to fix any issues.

Just installed my kit, waited an extra week or so for the 29mm dome. Very happy with the kit and took about 5 minutes to do all the lights. Huge difference, can’t believe how crappy the stock ones are, Toyota should be ashamed.
