Don't have too many pics. They are flush. They are great tires so far.

I found this tire originally on Discount tires website and was comparing it to other tires of the same size. I originally chose a different wrangler 265/70/16 but when I got to the store a manager there told me he had some return tires he could sale me. They were the 265/75/16 Goodyear Wranglers ultraterrians. After researching these tires I found a lot of people worrying about this size not fitting or having to make modifications. According to Discount tires website these tires in 265/75/16 do not fit Tacoma’s. I had them put on and they fit perfectly no mods needed. I absolutely love the look of these tires and with being a size bigger! I walked out of discount with a set installed and warranty for $600! Discount tire was a awesome experience I am definitely impressed I was in and out! EDA575CC-D36F-4EA3-8624-E5D8D22A543B.jpg

Anybody gone from 265/75R16 KO2 E to the Ultra Terrain SL? If so is there any real noticeable gains in MPG and power that would justify making the swap to the UT’s?

Installed a set of 265/70/16 Ultraterrains today. I noticed that the 70s are heavier by 2 lbs. than the 75s in SL load range. I asked Discount about it and they said that Goodyear thickened the sidewalls a bit on the 70s. I can't imagine why they would do that, assuming he knew what he was talking about. In the KO2s the 75s (E load range) are a tiny bit narrower, according to the specs. The Goodyears are 8.5" wide at the tread.

I haven't had them off-road, but they were quiet and handled well to 80 mph. See what the mileage is like. I went from 265/75/16 KO2s E load range. These definitely ride smoother.

Got a pic? Wouldn’t mind seeing what they look like in the stock size. Seems like everyone goes with 75’s.

Sure. I'll post later today. Also noticed that the compound is slightly harder than the KO2s E load. Still softer overall, probably due to SL rating.

Is there a master list of all the sizes this tire comes in? No luck trying to find this tire listed by sizes load ranges either on Discount Direct or Goodyears site.
    Thanks!

Edit: I am looking for a step down from 285/75R16 in 17inch rim size. 265/75? or 275/? type size.

They come in 265/70r17 if that’s what you’re looking for.

@Sixthelement they come in 265/75r16 lre. I can vouch for that one..I would almost just call discount tire and ask them. I called them this morning to verify what they had in stock at a local shop and ended up with 5 new tires! Best of luck to you!

    Appreciate it guys.
How are the tires for wet traction? South Florida here, see lots of it. The mud tires I have are awesome off road, decent on road. But wife's been nervous after a few slips. Want to stay somewhat aggressive for the Florida trails, but need better road manners for the rest of the time. I was debating between either just going back to a basic AT tire, Duratracs or something else. Then came across these and these tires look like they fit the spot perfect.

Going to be breaking them in over the next few days. Going to search for some snow and rain to determine if they’re as good as Goodyear says they are. As for what I do know, they balanced well with very little weight. The drive around town this evening (25 miles) was very smooth. The feedback from the steering wheel is solid, just as you’d expect when going from stock tires to all terrains. The tread is tall, really tall. I have the xl rated wildpeaks on my Subaru with a spacer lift and king springs, and it is a harsh ride sometimes. This led me to hesitate when buying load E tires. But after driving about 40 miles total after install, I’m very glad that I did. Too soon to judge gas mileage, plus the truck is just 3 days old..but the tires are great. I can tell the difference between them and the stock wranglers but it is not harsh or rough in any way to me. But sometimes tacomaworld leads me to believe that stock trd or suspension is bad, which I absolutely love at this point as far as ride quality is concerned. To each their own I guess. Just for ride quality, tires are great. I’ll update after I’ve put them to use.

I drove in a downpour with 1"+ covering the road and no issues, up to 60 mph. Better than my TAKOs. Won't get in snow until next winter.
