This is not a quick answer and is incredibly subject to opinion.

Your best option is going to be to get a decent amp and a set of component speakers (woofer and tweeter separate). Many of them, like the Alpine, will have a built-in crossover. Then add a dedicated sub somewhere in the cab.

I'm partial to Alpine. I think the SPS-610c is the model, or something close to that. Then get a slim 10" sub to put in the back. Any "name brand" amp should do just fine. That way you are getting a killer setup but not breaking the bank. I've also seen others do a 8" sub/amp combo under the driver or passenger seat with mixed reviews. Most seem to like it though.

***Note: I do have adapters to mount aftermarket 6x9" fronts and 6 1/2" (I think) rears. I also have the adapters to connect to the factory harness if you decide to skip the amp and just upgrade speakers (easier option). I'd sell all of those (4 speakers mount adapters and 4 wire harness adapters) for $25.

 

Yeah, I kinda thought about that after making the post... I generally know what brands are decent or not. But, currently CF is throwing a cart together for me that includes Polk Audio gear. Ratings are high, do you guys have any experience with them?

I put a set of Polk Audios in my LC, as they were the only weatherproof speaker out there, so when your crossing streams and water comes in, ya still got your tunes kicking!

 

On another bs note, who here has to many gd keys!

Jesus...just had wanted to rant. Can’t get my damn tow ball off my truck, because I have like 20+ keys that all look alike but none work on the hitch pin lock!

Haha! I know, sadly enough. Just one wack with a hammer does the trick.
I did not realize how easy a lock pops off with one stoke of a hammer.
I knocked off my trailer hitch lock, the ones that wrap over the tongue, and into one of the those yellow locks.
Took no effort, did not even hit it that hard.

 

I've already got a matching spare. GLWS.

I think I've pretty much decided that this will be my next tire size, but have a ways to go before I wear out my current set of 265/70/17s. If it was one of those too good to be true deals, then I might have pondered it, but I'll let someone else have that killer deal.

I bit the bullet and bought the Bolt, that one-key system. It uses your ignition key to set the tumblers in the hitch pin lock.
My house has a pushbutton-number lock on the door, so no key needed there. Here is my key ring:

 

It’s true. I have the Bolt Key setup on my work truck. It is very nice. I need to get a couple more. It will work with my 4runner and FJC, but not the new Taco. The keyless key (the small Key that comes out of the keyfob) isn’t compatible with the Bolt locks.
Already tried.

I do envy your minimalist key ring though. If only I could have one key to rule them all!

 

Heartlandlock.com will sell you custom keyed Master locks. Any lock I get now that is keyed I order from them and just reference my previous orders and they key it the same (assuming its a lock that is re-keyable). So I only have to carry one Master type key on my keyring and it works for everything. I think between that and the Bolt, its pretty much just a couple keys.

About to install this huge 40” light bar and wanted to see how others have mounted it. The brackets supplied are definitely not gonna line this light up in the cutout on the fairing.
Just thought I would ask those with searching chops!?

Not only did it help, it solved my issue.
My dumb ass did not even think to relocate the bars lol

 

No added cost. I got so much crap on my rack that one of the bars was completely not being used. I will just move that one in place.

 

You're not the only one. I was tempted to drill into my bars until I realized it's a modular rack
