I been thinking about it for 6 months now and its kind one of those should I do it or not. More then likely will do it when it needs to have a paint job

Shelby Farms and Stanky Creek are the only places I've ridden around here. They were nice trails a couple years ago last time i was on them.

New tires i put on the bike sucked so i haven't ridden much. Didn't realize just how noticeable a tire difference would be. Was basically like replacing Swampers with street tires and still trying to get through the mud.

Haha theyre still great trails, I try and get out as many times a week as I can.

What tires did you go with? Just curious? I ride enduro tires around here, they are slow but grippy as shit. Maxxis DHR II front and rear.

I've had 3 total. 1 now in the front of my Tacoma. Not as "positive" as a locker, but very effective (compared to an open diff) and very mild mannered for street driving

I probably won't be going on any trips until after the Rally. I have a lot to get done to be ready for it and I don't want to risk breaking anything new. lol

I still have some 2nd gen Tacoma parts if someone wants to buy.

    * OEM headlights for a 2012-2015. I got them as a spare set planning to do a HID retrofit but never got around to it. $130.

    * One Nitto Ridge Grappler tire. 285/75-17 (about 34"). Originally purchased Jan 2017. Only used for a couple hundred miles. No damage/repairs on it. $140 (which is about half of what they go for new)

    * OEM air filter housing. Free.

    * OEM suspension from TRD Off-Road (UCAs, shocks, springs). Guessing no one on here is interested in this.

Need to look around more to see what else I've got.

Hey If you still have that one tire in a few months or so, I will buy it as a spare tire. Im looking to go 285/75/17 on my 3rd gen. Justin an I are going to try and make em fit. Did you have problems running that size on your 2nd gen?

No issues. But i did all the same work you'd do for 35s though. CMC, hammered down pinch weld, trimmed fenders.

Stanky Creek is legit. My bike is in dire need of some maintenance though atm. Got some sagauro tires on it now, but wouldn't run them again. I'll get another set of Maxxis next time
