I'll guess a 20 hp 20 tq increase but what I try to (with difficulty) explain to people is that max hp/tq numbers are fine and all but what happened to the middle of the rpm range at part throttle?
You may gain 20 hp 20 torque with better fuel efficiency at 1/2 throttle and 2500 rpm. The dyno wont show this but you will most definitely feel it.

I have the 255 and I'm still good. I think most of us are running it.
If I were to do it again I'd get the 320 though.

It’s fun to bench race with max MAF calculations. But who drives around at 5700 RPM the whole time? To me that’s not even fun.

Curious if this statement will change once you get a good tune installed?

The man with all of the parts/tunes is answering the challenge. I know I dont need a dyno to tell me how my truck is running and I dont think @loginfailed needs one either.

For those that want to know that bad, put up some funding! All the work with ecu changes and the vehicle is being offered.
Now it's up to you to fund what you want see.

Exactly. When I was ov tuned it only showed a 20 peak gain, but it felt a lot better through the whole rpm range.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
    THIS^.

Numbers are fun goals to chase and great for shit talking. However, at the end of the day the OEM is trying to please the masses (i.e. all the weirdos who don’t Tacomaworld plus the cool people on Tacomaworld) therefore it isn’t really adjusting efficiency as much as it is just providing the end user better ergonomic connection with the machine through ECM manipulation. DYNO is just a machine that can’t articulate the human integration/feel. All those on the sideline will never know and can’t complain until they try it.

I got my tuner the day before I left on vacation so I'm sitting here in Mexico itching to check this thing out when I get back. Local tuner wants to dyno tune it by the end of the month

I think some of us kinda assume you who are more involved in tuning have easy access to a dyno, or your own shop. I know I did

Another reason to street tune. My other truck was dyno tuned but I had to find someone else to fine tune how it drove.

I just spent a significant amount of time learning from others who knew more than I did. No shop.. I'm former USAF Military Police (SF)/Sniper turned Biologist. Started "tuning" when I was in the USAF in 2000 with a '93 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. First "mod" was a datalogger. I logged and logged and my analytic nature got me accustomed to making sense of lines/numbers and their relationships. A few years later I was introduced to a 2003 Subaru WRX as my first new car purchase and the first modification to that was a TurboXS UTEC which I helped TurobXS beta test firmware for future releases. The WRX was quickly replaced by my 2003 Mitsubishi EVO VIII. I fitted a GT3076R turbo to it, and adapted a 2G DSM ECU with DSMLink tuning software to run the car as the only tuning solutions were a Apexi SAFC or similar and full standalone ECUs. Using the DSM ECU in the EVO I was able to run a 11.9@119mph at Bandimere Speedway at over a mile ASL. The stock coils couldn't handle the cylinder pressures I was running so the car cut out on the top end. I'd guess with a better set of coils the car would have run low 11's even with my crappy driving. I took a little break from the tuning scene running around with a 2001 Subaru GC 2.5RS coupe, but when it was stolen I found myself back in the EVO game. Picked up a new 2006 EVO IX and went to work making a streetable sleeper. By this time the stock ECU's had been cracked, and opensource software to relash them had become widespread. I had a pretty good number of folks in the Denver area running my tunes and my own personal EVO made 430whp/430wtq on E85 with a stock framed turbo. Came back from Iraq in 2008 and sold the car/gave up the scene to focus on other areas and interests in life.

Now this software comes out, and it's ignited a old flame you might say.. No shop/dyno of my own, but a bit of history making things "better". Now you all know a little about where I come from :)
