    @Lucario Runner 's is. By way of the APR X-1. His is only naturally aspirated though.

    Boosted should not be raised that high. As the stresses will dramatically lower the lifespan of the rods. 5700 is ok.

    So this is where everyone's been hiding. Can't wait to see more. It seems like I just installed the UCON and now this is here....might have to look into whether it's worth it to keep the 7th injector on a stand alone controller or not. Throttle control, speedometer variables control, and transmission control seems too good to pass up.


    This sounds like a neat trip. Make sure to let us know if there's going to be a programming party.

    I've hit 354 a couple of times with my current setup.....

    This is soooo great to see. I'd love an easy way to calibrate the speedo.

    Possibly it's the lazy throttle causing the rev hang?

    Can't hardly wait for updated information.

    Hmmmmm, I might have to do this. Have you had a chance to data log any runs yet? Curious about performance estimates. Also, doesn't the idle automatically increase when the A/C is turned on anyways? Can the a/c specific target be upped, but leave the standard idle low?

    What's coming?

    How much you want? I'll contribute a few dollars for kicks.

    Idle stays the same with ac on or off.
    Idle rpm can be set for park and in-gear.

    Lots of stuff coming! It just takes brilliant minds to bring all the variables together optimally.
    You know....fueling, timing, vvti timing, etc. Noone has even messed with the trans settings yet that I know of.

    I saw DSM and already knew what life you were all about. Lol. Those Mitsu's loved their turbo cars back in the 90's and even some early 2000's. The EVO's have always been a favorite of mine and when the 8 made it out here to the states I was like, "no way!!"

    There are a couple different ways to mess with idle speed. There's base idle and then theres A/C adder as well IIRC.

    With a good tune, yes. For fi guys you need to pay attention to fuel quality and knock. Ring lands will be the first to fail. Rods are so-so, still not great. Head bolts should be replaced with studs. On my 1grs I've always taken care of fuel and oils and no issues and I fall under severe duty section. I personally would love to do a stock bottom end test kind of like rb26 and a jz.

    I dont have any idle issues. I'm simply saying idle doesnt increase when ac is turned on. It stays the same and goes to the target idle in the table. If it didnt then of course idle would drop when the ac compressor kicks on.

    Sorry I thought you were saying the idle doesn't increase when you turned the a/c on and that you were increasing the base idle to compensate.

    This is awesome. I’d love to be able to turn my cold start idle down, I’m always afraid to wake the babies when I am leaving lol.
    I keep telling myself I don’t need one of these and to just be happy with my ovtune, but I think you guys are winning me over will all this customization! I could even ditch my hypertech speedo calculator by the looks of it.
