Looks like a nice set up. I bet with the distribution hitch, it tows really well. I hope you get to use it regularly.
Been thinking about getting another camper. My last one 4 yrs ago was a Road Warrior 38’ toy hauler. No way we are going to go that route again. Thinking about some kind of Hi-Lo style.

Done the same.. Looked out at my truck at noon and this freaking Robin was fighting his reflection on the back glass. He was jumping up and down fighting so hard the reflection was scaring the sh#t out of him/herself. The hard tonneau cover he was jumping up and down on while he was fighting. I never knew one Robin could sh#t so much. I would say 22 or more piles. I was pissed to say the least. If I see him/her back out there again I guess I'll try rolling my tonneau cover up and laying it in the bed. He/she won't have no dance floor then. LOL!

Brother said to set a couple mouse traps next to the back glass on my hard tonneau cover. Guess the snap when they trip them scares them off and they don't return.

I can understand wanting to secure your tailgate, but why not install an electric lock from here:https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/new-3rd-gen-pop-and-lock-plug-n-play-harness.592685/ for less money or from Pop & Lock for a few dollars more and have a tailgate that locks/unlocks from your key fob?

Good question. These two things are not supplimentary, they are complimentary. I will be adding a pop n' lock as well.

Took a road trip to bring my blind dog back to the vet. Drove about 150 miles round trip and finally started getting decent gas mileage. 19.5 MPG. That’s the best I’ve seen in 20 yrs. It’s not like I bought the Tacoma for mileage, but it’s a plus.

I feel much better now after you posted a picture of your dusty engine. Thank you!

Freaking 2 feral cats crawled all over my engine the other day during a rain. Freaking paw prints all over under the hood. Bastards!
