Okay, picking the truck up on Tuesday unless something catastrophic manages to happen. Can't wait to have the truck back and drive the piss out of it until I manage to put it on stands for who knows how long again.
Also, if selling the Duramax goes as planned, I'll be getting another Taco. It's gonna be a fun one, lowered, v6, turboed:D and hopefully an s-runner :D:D:burnrubber:

Test fitting some glass, soon.... :burnrubber:
    IMG_20181204_154909.jpg IMG_20181204_154902.jpg IMG_20181204_162025.jpg IMG_20181204_162011.jpg IMG_20181204_164206.jpg

Also started fitting trans cooler and radiator. Definitely going to have to do some modifications to get it to fit with the new front setup.

Finished trimming the bed to get the glass to fit perfect.
Also pulled the front apart for paint.

And hopefully selling the Duramax by the end of the week. Then I can pick up the s-runner and start another money pit. (Just kidding, they sold that shit today... bastards)
    :spending:
Also any insight on fuel door setup, guess I messed up and didn't get them with the fuel door premoulded in.

Got the cooler retrofitted, three out four mounting points, meh. It's rubber mounted so it wouldn't be super solid anyway lol.
Then waiting on a 2.4 radiator from a friend for test fitting and if it fits I'll get the champion radiator model.

And working in unmatching moccasins? Why yes I am.

So Ive been contemplating putting a turbo on the Prerunner. And I was looking at the CX Racing manifolds, I found they won't fit with the brace in the engine. However I contacted them to see if its possible to weld the pedistal to the middle exhaust tube, which in that case would clear just fine, so we'll see what they say :ballchain::D:D:D

Alright, I got to test fitting a radiator. It's out of a 22re. It fits good, but my concern is if it'll be enough. I'm going to get the champion radiator version and I'll have electric fans. What do you guys think? I wish it was just slightly wider.

Got the rad today. Very shiny lol. I'm going to make a cardboard template and probably give it to a buddy to cnc cut it out for me. Then I can start her back up and get this thing rolling under its own power for once.

Now I'm not going to use separate blinkers, I'm going to try and wire the blinkers to the corner lights. Either a relay that'll will leave the corner lights on all the time and then blink when its supposed to or use a resistor to dim the corner lights and then the blinkers will be full brightness, gotta look at some wiring diagrams and see what I can do.

Lol nope, great truck, super fun to drive, but I wasn't going to use it for it's intended use, I already have a toy truck, and I could use the money elsewhere, plus sold it more than what I bought it for so that's a bonus :notsure:

Ordered lots of parts, and since I'm using a 22re radiator from champion radiators, was trying to figure out a fan setup. Turns out a lot of the 22re guys use the Ford taurus fans and I ordered a brand new one for only $70!! Supposedly flows a ton of air and is 2 speed, so we'll see how it fits. Gonna be here tomorrow.
