Has anyone hear programmed their Pac-swi to a pioneer avh-p3200 ?

I installed the HU last weekend with no issues but can't get the the pac to program. The unit seems to be recognizing my vehicle as it flashes 8 times when it is turned on.

When I try to start programming volume up I would hold volume up until light went out, then would release and the light would not come back on. After 15 seconds the pac would the blink 11 times. I have checked all wiring, and I have the 150ohm resistor between pin 7 and pin 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also the pac is version 1.6.8

    THOUGHTS:
over 6k have used the swi-jack sticky in this A/V section of the forum, glance at that one more time ( if you haven't already )
I monitor a lot of the questions, normally it is a connection problem. Double check your resistor, and once again check all your connections. If still whack, ensure you're setting the SWI device to the proper Head Unit setting, and take the manual to the bathroom. Sounds like you are "very close" Hope you complete it, cause it's worth it!

As has been said, check all of your connections, but I had a similar problem and it was due to my hooking the SWI switch power line to a constant power source.

I have the AVH-P4200DVD. Initially I used crimp on connectors that made poor contact. So then I went back and took those off and wired them directly to the wire. That fixed all of my problems.

Again, check, but my HU has a connection for always-hot and switched. I mistakenly connected the SWI switched to the HU always-hot.

    Install and programmed a pacswi-ps version 1.68 this weekend with a avhp4200dvd

My install sheet instructed to use the 560 ohm resistor. Not the 150 ohm.
Also I had issue with programming the buttons after the install. What I did.

    1. Check all connections.
    2. Programmed with the audio jack from the pac not plugged into the head unit.
    3. Done

Used this as a guide and the vehicle specific info from the pac audio site.
