Bring it over to my house and we can get it straightened up. Order up some tires from Amazon and we can toss some on the wheels too

Really just need to get my shocks redone and bleed the brakes. I'll live with the tires for now. Once it dries up I'll take it out

Rebuilding a 3rz to go in it right now, I have everything I need for the swap except a new clutch and wiring harness.

Was planning on doing this swap on my 4runner before I sold it. Only nugget of wisdom I can give you is just bite the bullet and buy the prebuilt harness. Im good at wiring and reading wiring diagrams, and even I didnt want to mess with all of that crap. The 3rz is the gold standard of mini truck conversions

    This is the harness:

    https://www.offroadsolutions.com/pr...-wiring-harness-for-3vz-e-and-22r-e-vehicles/

They use all OEM connectors and do a core charge for the connectors. They ask the donor and recipient vehicle and make it as painless as possible

Yeah fuck that lol. I've seen those, not even remotely worth it. There are good diagrams out there for the swap, and you're forgetting I share a shop with my brother who actually went to school for this shit. Should be able to figure it out. I only have about $700 in this whole swap so far

If I had $700 burning a hole in my pocket lol. But if I had money to blow I may have just payed someone to do the swap for me, or at least bought a new motor instead haha

The Truetrac is a good alternative to a front mechanical locker for a DD truck. While the offroad performance is not as good as a locker, the driveability while still getting a gear-driven limited-slip makes up for the reduction of offroad performance. Now if you want to drop the coin on a selectable front locker that is probably the best option as you can turn it on in really tough situations, like on the rocks around the top of GWT. While still being able to use your 4WD in something like snow or ice while still on the street. I had a Truetrac in my Ford and loved it. If my Tacoma didn't already have ATRAC for limited-slip performace, I would have considered installing another one vs a front locker. :hattip:
