These are shocks meant for factory replacement as a direct bolt-in, not for use with shock relocation kits (which requires much longer shocks for more travel).

Prices listed are for the pair of shocks (both rear shocks). This list is not Absolutely complete & I cannot accept responsibility for any errors, this was created out of fun and to examine how much travel your dollar can get you. I wanted to compile some easily accessible data on some of the most common rear shocks people purchase. Keep in mind that you should take into consideration your overall lift height, bump stop height, brake line length & droop/compression travel before simply bolting on the longest shock you can buy.

Notes: Toytec does not list collapsed and expanded lengths for their 2.0 BOSS shocks on their website.

Can some help me with the travel on these measurements .
Front shocks 16.72 collasped /22.25 extended
    Rear shocks 15.5 collasped / 25.5 extended.

Can I use a uca with those measurements up front.
How much lift back can I use for the rear shocks. Thanks

You can use “UCA” with any lift. Are you referring to aftermarket UCA? And if your rear shocks are 15 x 25 you can run a 2-3.5” lift I’d say. Look at websites and like Wheelers offroad who list recommended shocks for certain lift heights.

I didn’t include that info because it wasn’t easily accessible. Icons website and wheelers both did not list the measurements. Frustrating and doesn’t make any sense.

Does anyone know if Wheelers is the only source for those extended icon 2.0s?

Typically, Downsouth Motorsports (DSM) and Headstrong Offroad (HS) are also great places to find shocks and suspension parts.

Does anyone know if you need extended bump stops with any of these? I'm looking at the extended icons to match up with my OME dakar hd leaf pack. I already have extended brake lines, just curious if I'll need new bump stops too.

Measure your wheel travel with the shocks removed.

I don't see how that would help. I guess I could measure the distance between the shock mounts at full compression to see if its less than 15.9. I was just hoping someone knew off hand.

That would help tremendously. You can probably get close with other members set up, but the best way to determine would be to cycle your suspension.

Im curious what the stock shock measurements are. Anyone know? I plan on going the 887 coils in the front and I want to lift the back the same height to keep factory rack. What would be my best option as far as a rear shock? 5125?

    Here’s mine just like Ryan’s.

B110 shocks, Dakar standard duty leaf pack, superbumps, extended brake lines. And polyurethane bushings in stock shackles.
