Ordered this from Ebay and in the description said "oem." However this came in a plane white bag with no Toyota branding anywhere or part number. Feels extremely cheap to be OEM. What do you guys think?

The double sided tape doesn’t even look OEM, certainly not 3M... so guessing the letters are “fake” as well.

The packaging is usually a sign. OEM parts come wrapped in a sealed package with the manufacturer logo and the part number printed on it.

Did this come wrapped in toilet paper...?

Yeah I thought about that, but it pisses me off they deliberately lied about it, so I'm returning this crap out of principle.

I have reported sellers on Amazon before for trying to pass fake items as genuine.

On eBay is not as easy. But once you get your refund, see if you can still leave a negative feedback to warn others.

    Good luck.

This is what they replied with "OK, we will full refund to you, you keep it." Fuckers know they're selling fake crap. I left negative review warning others.

The fact you guys are OK with this shit says a lot about your character. Personally I wouldn't want someone getting screwed with their items. They dont just sell cheap emblems they sell much more expensive crap that's probably also fake. I don't mind buying fake crap, I mind being lied to and told its OEM when it's not.

When Americans where more interested in civility than being dicks, it was harder to get ripped off. Most people under thirty have not lived in an America where cheap imports from questionable societies are the norm. You used to order parts from a catalog with no pictures, and the product was designed, built, tested and sold by people who used them. Now the shit comes from China where the sweat shop worker doesn’t even know what it is.

I just ordered a set of black badges, 2 TACOMA and 1 V6 for $25 on eBay.

I was looking at the overlays, but I have a hard time swallowing the $120 price Toyota wants for it.

I also have to buy a set of mudguards, floor mats, door sill guards, tailgate inserts,; it adds up quickly.

Like I said, I don't care if they sell fake crap, if people know they're buying fake crap. These were advertised as OEM.
