What’s the largest tires that’ll fit a 2” lift with no rubbing?

I was thinking a 285/70/16 Wild Peak would look nice

Lol. He’s just gonna have to tub the bed and do a little inner fender well trimming up front.

285s are too wide. You might be able to get away with 275s depending on tire.

Think I can get away with 275s in Wild Peak AT3’s or stick with 265s to be safe?

265s are the largest tire proven to fit without any rubbing or trimming.

265/75r16s without rubbing. I ran those in a Falken Wildpeaks in stock Sport suspension with no rubbing whatsoever. Ran 16x8 SCS F5s with a 3.5BS -25 offset.

Currently on 285/75r16s BFG KO2s on close to a 3 inch lift. Same wheel specs. I did CMC and have trimmed/heat gunned some sections of my fender. Minimum rubbing still. Best bet is to go 265 if you don’t want rubbing or to deal with trimming.

I still think 265 is plenty wide for 95% of wheeling and still looks beefy

You could also join the skinny tire gang and run 255/85/16s

265/75R16 ST Maxx on a 2.5ish lift and I rub like a mofo on the plastic liners in front when I turn to full lock or full stuff. The Maxxs are like .5 inches bigger than a KO2 in that same size.

Yup, same except only when turning and stuffing. You can run 265/75/16 on stock wheels and not rub, but if you start moving your wheels outboard like the Ray 10's do then even they will rub on the liners. Hell, stock tires would probably rub too.

You probably added an extra inch or so by going with 75 profile size. Stock wheels are 265/70R16s. A 75 adds about 13.25mm (about .52in) all around to the side wall.

You didn’t rub with 265/75/16 on 3.5 BS F5s and stock suspension? Did you wheel with that setup? That’s what I’d like to go for but don’t want to trim just for 265s.

Have you tried to get an alignment. They might be able to adjust your upper if not your lower caster for better clearance.
