Good evening all! Sucks to hear about Notre Dame.

 

I am not Catholic but I find this a terrible tragedy knowing all the history that was lost I don't care if it was an 800 year old pew it is history we can never get back. They may be able to take pictures and reproduce things but it will never be the same. What a loss

 

Too much going on in this world lately and for this to happen in Holy Week?

 

The spire collapsed earlier I believe all that is left of this part of it is the stone facade

 

Saw that...truly a sad sight.

 

Supposedly there was or is a piece of the cross and a nail stored in there somewhere. They said there were priceless artifacts in the spire itself which is gone. I don't know how much they were able to save but I am sure the world lost a lot of history today.

Also most of the structure was under renovation and surrounded by scaffolding . Could be Construction related incident

The one Eaglet looks like a better eater. Probably BB1.

 

Did they find the cause of the fire yet?

There's a place in the Yuha Desert at the foot of the mountains that's part of El Centro BLM's AO called Crucifixion Thorn. Supposedly one of the few places it grows naturally.

Watching my local late night news they were reporting on the massive fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral . They mentioned most of or all the irreplaceable ancient relics have been saved

 

2:10am....and here I am. Can't sleep because of leg cramps.
