Bad Injectors

Any idea what the cause was op?

 

They couldn't say, just speculate.

 

Also has feedback from the one new injector, so they had to change out that computer. Which they said was under warranty. Nothing else was.

 

surprising......costco is top tier gas......30k on mine idles and runs great.....use shell also......no issues.......

 

Around my neck of the woods Costco is supplied by Kenan Advantage fuels which is good stuff. Been using it in everything I own consistently with no issues. And even minor particulate and such should be well sorted by the extensive filtration system in the truck itself.

 

This explains why the dealer is replacing all 6 of my 2019 injectors at 45K miles. It doesn't mean all 6 "failed" just that some have. Thanks for that insight
