    Same, lucky me I still have lca's with good bushings on them. I'll swap em out, get an alignment and rebuild the old ones with whiteline to keep for spares.

    Got the Whiteline bushings from Amazon, came loose in a box with the original bag. Must’ve been a return. Just want to make sure before I tear the truck apart, all 4 bushings should be identical, correct?

    I've still got mine sitting around, but haven't installed them yet. All four of my bushings are the same size.

    Yup. All four are the same. Just completed my LCA bushing job a little while ago using the Whiteline bushings. I rented a ball joint press to make use of the different size cups to press in the bushings. It worked beautifully.

    And the metal sleeve inserts.

    A side note: During my shower "After action review" of the job, I realized that I grabbed the "Wrong" grease gun for this job. One gun has a basic, moly fortified grease, and the one I grabbed has Valvoline Synpower.

    After a little research, I think the Valvoline gun may be the better of my two options since it's full synthetic and has molybdenum disulfide. Not super lube like what OP suggests, but maybe the best of both worlds?

    Sounds like I have everything I should. Definitely getting a floor jack before I bother with this, so sick of the stock bottle jack

    For the poly bushings, first: the grease from the manufacturer of the bushings is best, and second: the energy suspension grease should work on any of the polys. The big difference is both the greases you had are petroleum based. Poly bushings call for synthetic, either PTFE(Teflon) or silicone grease or the manufacturer proprietary blend.

    Hmm. Might just wait until the next alignment is due and apply the appropriate grease. It was a duh moment, but at least everything will hold together fine for now.

    Anyone have any pointers on breaking things apart for such a job? Would really like to not rip it completely apart again.

    I dunno man, the only way to truly get those friction squeeky areas lubed is disassembly. You might be able to use PTFE or silicone spray to get you through the squeeks. Or it might not ever squeek. You'll know what you need to do at least, if squeeks show up

    For sure. Maybe dropping the arms at the cam bolts and letting the rest of the steering assembly just droop down will get it.

    Gonna try and not lose any sleep over it. Losing enough to my 1 month old son as it is. Lol

    Anyone tried to remove the washers from the oem bushings and use with the Whitelines? Or is this no bueno?

    I was under the impression that the washers that come with the Whiteline bushings do not have grooves like the oem bushings and that this can cause problems with keeping an alignment. Is this incorrect?

    this has not been my experience. Mine have not moved at all and there has been plenty of off road abuse.

    Good to know. I have a set of SPC UCA’s I need to put in and some LBJ’s too. I figured while I was in there I’d change the LCA bushings. I’ve been flip flopping between Whitelines and ES. So you are a happy with the Whitelines?

    Yes, very happy. The only hassle in the install was my alignment cam bolts were all frozen. This meant we had to cut them off and replace with new.

    You're pushing me more in the Whiteline direction....I've read on here about the frozen cam bolts. Sounds lie a pain! I had an alignment done after I installed my OME lift about 10k ago. So I'm pretty sure they're not frozen in there.

    Since you're here and been through this: What method did you use to get the oem bushings out? Whitelines in?

    edit: I'm thinking I'll use a bottle jack to get the old ones out and then vice to push the new ones in.

    Get the whiteline bushings! I love mine as well and haven’t had any alignment issues and I also drive a lot off road.
