Hey Andrew sick build man I always liked your taco. Quick question for your, the nfab spare tire carrier does it come black and do you feel like its secure on there? I'm thinking about getting one but I want to remove the tailgate and leave it at the end and dont want to see my tire falling off haha.

If I recall correctly, it ships painted a glossy black. I wasn't a fan of it so for $65 I had a place here locally powder-coat it tuscan-black to match my sliders and front bumper bar.

The tire is S.E.C.U.R.E. I can barely wiggle the thing; the strap obviously helps secure it tight and then I have a numeric pad lock on it for extra security.

These N-fab tire carriers can also be faced the other way around so that if you want to run it near the end of the bed backwards, you can easily do that as well. Lots of flexibility. I believe there's a guy on the Buy/ Sell forum that is still trying to sell used. Not sure if he's willing to ship.

EVOMS (Evolution Motorsports in Tempe). Ian (new AZ member "Sterling") is one of the managers there. We are pals from the BMW "crew". They charge $75 for 3 runs; pretty standard.

Their shop has done work for Fabio, Emmit Smith, etc... and the shop is always full of Porsche tuned track/ race ready cars, Porsche Carrera GTs and other fancy stuff I go broke just looking at. My truck will definitely be out of place - but, if I can hit 220hp on summer gas, Ill take it! :)

Just got back to the office... the results are in but their printer wasn't working or something, so Ian (Sterling) is going to email me verification of the results. But, my best run was 204 WHP and 231 Torque.

I took video footage on my phone too. Pretty high quality. I also took a few photos of some Porsches, a Ferrari and two Gumbert Apollos!

Here's pics of non-Tacomas that carry a BIG punch (except the Ferrari, haha)...
