he has the double thick hinge itself. this was just the bow holders. Like the extended version tent plastic pole slots. But on the hinge. Easy "fix".

Danger close. Got a visit from a coyote or two in the middle of the night while doing a single overnight roadside camping at Mammoth, CA for a half day of snowboarding. Helped one of my best friends and his family move their stuff from OC/LA up to Redding, CA. Made it a plan to ride Mammoth on the way back to SoCal.

Exped is $$ but you won't be disappointed. I have the duo and it's a perfect fit in the autana. Im a side sleeper, so exped on top of the stock mattress is a great night sleep.

Nice! One of my favorite spots/trails to hit on a road trip. Here's us last summer at my favorite spot just off the main Flagpole Knob site.

...After catching our breaths and with our stomachs satisfied, it didn't take long for us to look for just the right place to try to capture Druid Arch. With the sun behind it, we weren't sure if we could even capture the grandeur, but we experimented with various exposures and settings and hoped for the best.

My guess is that when nature looks like this, it's hard to end up with something unusable.

Read it all and check out the photos in Ruining Around Utah 2 - Don't Miss Druid Arch

I've got one. Can't say anything bad about it. Especially for the price. It's been in heavy rain wind and snow. I've never been wet or left with a negative mindset after using it. Yes you have to clean it out a little bit when you get it but other than that it's been good to me and my wife.

What do you have your shoe bag hung on? I have the same tent and hang mine on the ladder. My mind is blown right now lol

Maybe it slid into where you attach the awning room. That would make sense

    I know its not that.

It does make sense theoretically but I know it's not that either.
    Rhino rack batwing awning

I dont remember but I think I put D-rings on the base of the tent that holds up the shoe bag. But I will confirm when I get home from work.

Edit: Damn I must be getting older I can't remember shit. I just used the damn thing this weekend.

FINALLY FIXED THE BROKEN ZIPPER ON MY TRAVEL COVER

Figured I should share my success since others might have the same issue. I've posted in here a couple times trying to find info about this but didn't hear from anyone who had solved the same problem.

For a while now the zipper runner that holds the travel cover to the tent base has been worn out. At first the zipper wouldn't connect both sides together unless I was very very careful, and random spots along the way would never connect no matter how hard I tried. Then one cold night I snapped the zipper pull off. Not just the rope on the end, but the metal hook on the runner that the zipper pull loops around.

After some trial and error I figured out the zipper is a #10 Nylon Coil and found the corresponding zipper runner on Amazon for $10 (pack of two). I'm sure you can find them cheaper, but this is the exact replacement for the zipper. To swap it out all I had to do was pull the zipper stop off the end of the tent base side, and slide the replacement runner on. Didn't have to alter the zipper besides that. The zipper stop is easily replaceable and dirt cheap. Now my zipper works like new when putting the travel cover back on.

    IMG_20190417_185132.jpg

Can't believe it took me this long to fix the zipper after how easy it was once I figured out what runner to get. Took me less than 5 minutes.

anyone happen to know if the new travel covers from CVT come with the lower zipper piece that slides into the channels?

Also i plan to switch to the Summit cover instead of the Pioneer cover as i swapped ladders and now it balloons big time with the extra space. Also its worn so i have to replace it anyway.
