Ok, sounds good. Not a problem at all. I blame USPS. The driver came by super late on saturday. We probably would have been too rushed on Saturday anyways. I didnt notice the tracking notification and wasnt expecting them to come Saturday.

Love the kit so far though. Going to be chopping stuff off the truck today after I get off work

For the ones that have had this kit installed, I'm just curios what you have payed to have this kit installed. Just trying to get a figure of the cost and don't want to get ripped off.

    Whole lotta stuff
Really depends. A fabrication or metal works company is going to charge you a premium for their time, an off road shop will be similar but they'll know how to precisely mount your shock mounts and cycle suspension. Best option: get you a friend who knows how to weld and is familiar with cycling suspension to get proper measurements. Best piece of advice: after you tack them in place, measure multiple times before you burn them on. I had a local guy install them for me, didn't want me to pay him, but I gave him a franklin anyway and told him food and beer was on me when we hit the trail.

I've been quoted anywhere from 550-650 for installation. I've been wanting a welder for my own personal use anyways, so I decided to buy my own welder, get a 220v installed in my driveway and teach myself.

After an excessive amount of money spent on scrap metal and welding other stuff on the truck Im 100% confident in myself doing this.

I've spent way more than what the installation prices I was quoted but its been worth it.

I commend that, it is a great opportunity to be able to install and build your own truck and even parts and tools. Welding is a useful skill

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping
Just spent several days redesigning my rear set up and ended up doing this rear relocate kit!! Can’t wait to feel the difference!!!

Do any of you all run a limit strap for the rear? If so what’s the length you all run?

Depending on where you mount them, stretch, and shock set up ea. will be different.

Hmmm..... well that kind of answers my question. So I guess I’ll have to lift the truck and measure what full droop is with it hanging in the air? Or is there a “recommended” droop?

You want to limit the travel to about 3/4-1/2" from full shock extension. Also getting under there and figuring out where you want to mount the straps is a good idea as well. Both myself and @EatSleepTacos put a tube across the frame above the axle to mount the straps too which is inboard so don't need as long of a strap. Also he is running BAMF relocation with the AG HH and 12" kings. If you are running stock hanger set up that is going to limit you quite a bit on droop and you may not even flex enough to need straps just yet. It is always better to test, measure, and apply what you need vs. going off a box stock set up because once you start doing stuff like this no 2 are exactly alike and it becomes harder to give a simple answer.

Here’s mine. 14” from trail gear and that limits my shocks 1.5” from full extension (when up on a lift). It’ll stretch more than that while on the trail under load.

do you have poly bushings in your shackles?

Here is mine now my frame is fully boxed Randy just boxed a section to put the tube on. I used 2" .120 HREW for the tube. I need to order all the stuff to mount my straps haven't done that yet I got some straps from Randy that were too long for his set up just haven't measured and figured out where the mounts need to go yet. I am also running a 63 swap with 14" kings so mine are going to be longer.

I honestly don’t know if I do or don’t have poly bushings.... I have what came in the hanger kit when I ordered it for me. Is this something I should have ordered extra? @ARCHIVE

Did you reuse stock shackles? Then you don’t have poly bushings. Get them, as that’s limiting your travel.

:fistbump: It looks like you have AG actual hangers so it's my understanding they come with poly bushings you should be good.
