    I loved Dexter but it was awful seasons 3 - 7 or whenever it finally got put out of it's misery. The first 2 seasons were brilliant though. I guess seasons 3 & 4 were 'ok' but the show definitely lost it's magic when it strayed from the books after season 2. I think the writer's strike had a big effect on it losing it's charm too, if I remember right.


    Gotta say I was disappointed in the season 8 opener of GoT...I kept hearing that this 'wouldn't be just a boring, first episode filler' but it totally was, with 10 seconds of "action" tossed to us like scraps at the end. Felt like I spent an hour watching people reunite with one another. I guess it had to happen. I'm just bitter there are only 5 episodes left.

    Probably right, people loathed Skyler to the point where they couldn't separate her in real life from her character on tv...kinda like what happened with the actor that played Joffrey. So maybe it'd be more fair to say that Joffrey is the Skylar of GoT, haha.

    I thought the 1st episode would have been longer. It seemed shorter than the episodes from last season? I have a feeling it's gonna be a let down but I hope I'm wrong

    Still my favorite TV show of all time, I can watch it beginning to end over and over. I get why some people don't like it though. My wife refuses to give it a chance.

    Skylar White is the main reason I will not rewatch the series. My wife has never seen it and I'd like her to watch it so we can watch the soon to release movie on netflix but I can't suffer through that woman again. She is the worst television character ever cast or portrayed.

    No one on GOT is even close, not even Joffrey. Hell, he is still just the little kid from Batman Begins in my eyes :laugh:
