What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

No I had the first one. The pre @mesojdm prototype.

 

As a low cost manufacturer the QuikFix CapTrap never really took off. I think the $9.99 price point killed the program. But that did include free shipping and free 3M tape for the installation.
Believe it or not this was done without one of those high tech @mesojdm fancy 3D printers.

 

I’m in agreement with the price point killing the program. There’s no way you could’ve made a profit with free installation equipment AND free shipping. $19.99 is where you needed to be on that product.

 

I thought about gluing mine on when I start to notice them sticking up.

 

Got a bit "back in the loop" here after being away for a few weeks. I was just in time to take advantage of the 12V Solutions very good deal for a remote start, which I just installed. I was also able to order the hood struts from RedLine Tuning, just before their promo code expired and am awaiting those. I was also able to get a nice and complete cleaning done, which was well over due! And I have a gashole! Bill in MA

You guys are really doing it on here. I wish that I had the money and knowledge to do some of the things on here.

 

Would have been easier on dad’s lift but I managed in the driveway just fine. Think I may try trimming down the air dam to make it fit. But I’m afraid it would be too flimsy in the middle. Can’t use it any how might as well try.

Or, and hear me out, you could throw the air dam in the garbage disposal.

 

I would except that (1) the seal is bent and warped again. It gets that way every time it flies off and (2) it’s a warranty item and I’m gonna make Toyota fix everything while it’s still under warranty. Lol

Side note though: I got a little Meso package and found out my turn signals should be in the mail today!

 

would you happen to know the cost of a new pair? i always forget to 303 it during washes because i'm short. kinda want to replace it and take care of it right this time around.
