Been to 3 shops and nobody can get my caster on point. First I had 2.7 caster with 0.02 toe and 0.9 camber. Not too bad. Next shop couldn't do shit they did a toe and go. Today I go to NTB and set my caster at the spec sheet posted. They didn't charge me because the couldn't get 3 degrees which I'm not gonna complain about but what's the deal? I have cam gussets and fully lubed and cleaned eccentrics. Bummin

I've only been to one alignment shop with my JBAs, they got my caster to 2.7 and camber and tow at 0*. Would I like a bit more caster? Sure, maybe a bit. but IMO anything above 2.5 while the toe and cam are at zero is good.

So should I be ok at 4.6 and 4.9 caster ? The steering is a bit harder and rubs on the bumper now. Not even close to the CMC. Thanks for the reply

Personal preference. That's a shit-ton of caster, but as long as your toe and camber are at zero your tire wear should be even. If it were me personally, I'd opt for bit less so that you don't rub anywhere. I rub in back near the cab mounts, so I'll be trying to get a bit more next alignment.

Thanks dude, you and I both it's a crap ton of caster. The steering is tight and dont want to over work my Power Steering. I've got a local race shop that does high end cars so I may just have to go to them. $150 for their alignment service may be my only option.

Can't help you with what to do, but yeh, that's a lot of caster . I would worry about power steering as well.

They said it was on JBA behalf they work with them to prevent fraud. Not sure though because they're asking for a screen shot of the transaction from my bank account.

I wouldn’t trust that! Sounds shady.

JBA wouldn't ask for that. Don't give out bank/credit card info via email!

A23F45B4-208A-4B8F-8634-261C76A806CB.jpgWell. Got this done today. Driver side was pretty straight forward and simple for me. Great tip on pry bar worked great and not a problem solo. Then came passenger side. I went ahead and removed a/c hard line retainer just in case. I moved fender outward to gain clearance for bolt and started to slide bolt and it got hung up half way out on inner fender. I tried multiple tools and was wishing I had those sheet metal vice grips but honestly don’t think that would have worked. It was hitting right wher the fender curls, if that makes sense, so no matter how much bending I could not get it. I finally had to hammer the bolt out with a 6” extension and I installed the bolt in the reverse. Just had to remove a brake line retainer to get the bolt head past. If I were to do it again I would cut that fucker off and not bend the metal. I hope I didn’t create a week spot with all the shitty bending. I would advise that on some trucks that fender will be in the way regardless. Other than that shit show the jba install was relatively easy with the pry bar by myself.

Heard back from Marlin this morning, he verified they do use to NoFraud to prevent and protect both buyer and seller from fraud. So I guess I gotta verify my purchase before I can get it shipped out to me. lol.
