High prices on everything are just a fact of life in California, especially southern cali. On the bright side, just over the border in AZ is about 2.72

Your guy's gas prices are always so much worse for us when we remember you use a miniscule measurement. Still the USD conversion helps a touch haha

I always forget too, haven't been up there in a while tho.

I lived in WA for 15 years and man it's hilarious how some of the BC folks can wait hours to cross the border just to buy fuel at the Costco and dairy products. Like is their time not worth anything, are they that cheap?

I am originally from Spain and gas prices there are insane too, I think they are over $5 a gallon doing the conversion. I must also mention that the lowest octane grade there is 95 instead of 87 and the highest is 98, very rich fuel.

Spain and most of Europe measure octane content differently as well so they're likely similar to our low grade or possibly worse.

Prices in the Sacramento region today range anywhere from $3.89 - $4.05/gal for 87 octane at local Chevron stations, to $3.71/gal for 87 octane at a local AM/PM.

factory side step, didn't get a chance to do anything to it yet, haven't even got to put it in 4 wheel mode yet. Lame, but I work a lot.
I just filled up the tank on my 18 offroad for the last time. Its up on craigslist as of today, and just riding the bike for the summer. Maybe get something in the fall. But for now cant beat gas mileage on a motorcycle. Crazy that we all voted to raise gas tax, and voted that they can raise it at any time in the future without a new vote.

You skipped the part where we voted for a gas tax to fix the roads, they spent it on pensions instead of the roads, and then we voted on another tax to fix the roads.

Sounds like that's working out real well for y'all haha. Maybe you should vote to raise the taxes again, third time's the charm right?

True story. It is too bad we can't hold the politicians accountable for misuse of funds. Politician might not be a very popular job anymore if that were the case.

Some of this is the new gas tax that got voted in last election (WTF California), but mostly it's because of refinery outages/maintenance that's been long overdue. I've read different articles saying it should come back down by beginning of summer and others saying it's going to get worse and last through the end of summer.

Now's not a good time to have a supercharged Tacoma I can tell you that much...cheapest premium I can find locally is about $4.20 right now

I remember after the election there was a big controversial story in the news about how the wording for that gas tax proposal was intentionally made overly complicated so that people glancing over it would vote in favor of it when in reality they would have voted against. There were a lot of people that happened to. Typical political shenanigans
