    Same here. 91 > 87e0 > 87e10

I can tell in my truck. Also can tell corn juice or not. Then again when you spend 20 hours a week in your truck, you notice a lot of things

Well I guess it’s finally time to do this. Bye 1.02!

Just gotta get the new laptop to work with tune. Sounds like a lot of work. Maybe I’ll stick to 1.02. :anonymous:

I haven't tried that, but I really can tell the difference. And also can tell with non ethanol or" corn juice"! My truck engine is noisy with the lower grades. Not sure what the noise is, but here a lot less of it on the better gas, so that's what I feel I need to do. Wish I didn't. Dealership says it's normal, I say it's not. They said if it runs quiter on the better gas, then keep using it. Lots of help they are, but it's about what I expected from them.

We could always attempt to bribe the TW mods to raffle off a weekly one-time ban hammer for this thread to the highest bidder. All proceeds go to the OVT Turbo thread.

The shudder fix and flash utility update scheduled for Apr 14 did not happen because of a 3rd party developer delay. My understanding is that we’ll see the flash utility updated to include a ‘clear learned values’ button along with the shudder fix after a slight delay.

Hmm....I'm running 91 B w/ 93 Octane gas -- and my idle RPM is just over 500, which is too low IMHO (can feel some shake in the steering wheel). Wish idle RPM was adjustable....

Mat probably doesn’t want to talk about date certain releases anymore when 3rd party developers are involved. Just the fact that it’s being worked on is good info.

I updated to the 4/10 87 performance tune yesterday, and after a few hundred miles I'm finding it much improved over the older 1.05 performance version. Transmission is very close to working like you'd expect a transmission to work. Feels really good.

Have I missed something or does putting 93 Base (non gearlock) into S (whatever number) change the characteristics? Holding gears better, more get up and go, better response in general. I don't mean because it's limiting gears, it's better in town even in S6.

It does in 87 base, so makes sense

Quick Newb question as I anxiously await the arrival of my cable tomorrow...

What exactly is the difference in the base and performance tunes, for 87? Is the base more a improved tune with better gas mileage and performance a max performance tune on 87 octane, or am I off base here? Thanks anyone how can help me since trying to catch up on almost 2300 pages had my head spinning.

I don't know what others experience is but mine is that this truck is never above 12 volts (my daily commute is about 12 minutes). My dash cam won't work most of the time unless I have been driving over an hour (it has a circuit to turn off at lower voltages so as not to drain the battery).
