So I went to Milton Toyota today. Super chill and friendly dude named Jitesh took care of most of it + my 1st service. Told him a lot of you recommended their spot. He was pretty understanding when I made a point of wanting the TSB + other issues, he took the number down and left a log of the problems and assured me they would apply the update. Seems like they did it, on the way home the truck definitely felt different and I was watching the rpms and shifting closely. However, I'm probably gonna open up a diagnostic and make sure I'm not just "feeling" like it was done.

Overall good experience. Thanks for recommending that dealer boys, worth the 40 min drive.

Although I ate Mcdonald's in the walmart across the street and boy oh boy was that a mistake.

Edit: Checked calibration ID with Carista - updated engine number is displayed, looks like it's applied!

Same as before. CBI sliders are common between 2nd and 3rd gens. Each slider uses 3 pre-existing holes on the frame; the rest need to be drilled. A lot more work than other brands, but it's "structurally efficient" - frame flange plates can be smaller, reducing overall weight while keeping the tubular sections beefy.
I did the same with wheel chocks. Not an expensive mistake though, and two pairs are safer in some cases.

Anybody play guitar? I bought 2 off a guy yesterday - a Fender Stratacoustic and a Fender Squire Tele for $550... Pretty good deal IMHO.

That's on top of my '91 Ibanez RT, Epiphone Wildkat and Beaver Creek mini acoustic.

2 amps - Fender FM212 and a Pignose 40 watt tube amp. I also have a Fender Passport PA system for vocals and the acoustic.

I have a few. And a few more are in their cases. Unfortunately I haven't played them in a very, very long time.

    Awe shit, here we go.

My intro to guitar was a Gibson ES335 and a Ibanez Artist solid body.

So I bought a Fender MexiStrat. Good lol axe actually. Traded that in for a Hawaiian purple Gibson SG with gold hardware...took it in for restring and intonation and got it back with head broken off.

Took the trade collateral in on 56 Fender Strat re-issue in seafoam green. In the meantime also went down acoustic bent with Seagil S6-CW, Ovaation 12 String, Yamaha LF something or other and a beach guitar plus a nylon string other thing.

Then went thru the keyboard phase (short lived) to the drum Phase currently with Rolland TD-8 Brain with a decent pad setup.

    I have problems lol
