I'm there with ya. Recently replaced one of CV axles and did the front diff.

This weekend I'm doing my 60k maintenance. Stealership wanted 1700 smackers. I'll do it for a few hundred bucks in parts and fluids.

Hey now, you fuckers are starting to embarass me.

 

Unfortunately, I'm out. I'm going to be in SF on Friday night for a show and then flying to Hamburg on Saturday for a week. This trip set my lift back a bit. The wife was able to clear her schedule and go with, so we have a couple of days before and after the meeting to make it a proper boondoggle. But don't fear, I have a list going and some of the parts coming in for my birthday.

 

I still hadnt replace the boot that tore when we went on the Rubicon

Finally replacing them since the inners now have torn. I have it all, just dont wanna do it haha

 

How hard is it to remove a 1st Gen front fender?

I have rotten clearcoat on my driver front fender. Looking to sand, prime, paint, clear it. Doesn't have to be perfect (the rest of the truck isn't near perfect) just better than the rotten clear coat I'm looking at... Do I need to remove the fender, or could I just mask shit off?

Body work is not my forté

 

I might stop by for a little bit. Not sure yet, I might be rebuilding rear shocks.

Possibly, after last weekend the gf has decided i must spend time with her this weekend. Was hoping to head out to frank raines to break (in) the new suspension before camping season. But idk about that either lol

odd, i thought the limited's were all V8.

Looks clean, test to make sure 4wd engages and disengages a few times.

 

Is a limited and doesnt have the v8 badge. Think they made limited v6 them yrs.

03-04 were know for HG problem, 05 on they went to a redesign gasket.

Definitely check it out. Check engaging like Sam said, even the center lock also.
