    Even with the new coating I will have a corrosion problem? If I need to paint I'm thinking maybe a blue to match the Kings.

    I'd just do it as a security measure. They're bad ass UCA. You'll love them. Real easy to get good numbers with .

    Yeah it does. I see a lot of guys running their trucks on the beaches and surf in California and the corrosion never stops.
    Funny shit!!! You guys east try to avoid the salt as much as possible on the roads and the guys out west wheel in it. Go figure. lol

    Yup. I'll brush mine this spring, hit it, and it'll be good as new. The materials themselve are high quality and all that is just light surface stuff. It's come right off and I'll be sealing mine up with clearcoat too. She'll be looking good in no time .


    Also not a bad idea for swapping out the clamp from stock for the line. Doesnt need to be this exact one, but it is the right diameter

    Oh for sure That's from my Amazon cart. Just didn't know if there were cheaper ones else where. I bought extras in case they rusted out being steel and all. But you can see in the photo they held up fine

    Even if they corrode, these ball joints are so readily available, it's just as easy to replace them. It's the
    $28 K6292 Front Upper Suspension Ball Joint for Chevrolet K1500
    K6292 I believe.

    Is the ball joint corroding or the ball joint retainer plate? Looks like the retainer plate that is bolted on the UCA is what is corroding and what we are talking about. Correct me if Im wrong.

    Just the outer finish of the ball joint, purely cosmetic. I live in sunny CA, it’s mostly moisture free. I do need to get a proper grease gun though. I gotta re-grease these bad boys
