    Lol.

The rack is in leiu of a rear bumper. We need a place to carry extra fuel. Got a bit too close last year when we crossed the Mcgruder corridor.

Do you know what the dimensions are of the usable space on the Prinsu Habitat Rack? I Couldn't find them online.

About 47" x 26-28" on mine, but I have a double cab rack that I cut to fit.

Is it your rig with the Recovery boards and a Plano style case mounted? That's what I'd like to go for. Just hoping the Habitat Rack fits it.

Honestly though, part of my worry was the fact that the original Habitat Rack image I saw was on a truck with a six foot bed, so the overhand was several inches from the rack, making it look like it was wasting a lot of space.

That threw me off too. But it looks like the hab cut and modified racks terminate just aft of the middle mount. A 6’ access cab will use the same rack as a 5’ double cab.

Negative, 90% of my rack is taken up by a Renogy 100W slim solar panel.

Except access cabs don't have the same mounting points on the cab roof as double cabs. They require installing rivnuts I believe.

Yeah, here's the image I saw first. Six foot bed, and 4 door, with Habitat Rack.

What I mean is the DCSB and AC are equidistant from the tailgate to a- and b-pilar. The extra foot of bed on the AC is eaten up by the extra room in the DCSB cab.

The AC does require Rivnuts to my knowledge.

The truck they use on the CBI page to advertise the hab cut rack was a poor choice, being a DCLB, and it almost caused me to buy a cab-rack to cut down. I saw hab plus double cab, but didn’t like the 12” gap of wasted space as pictured. That’s when I noticed it was a dclb, and my truck wouldn’t have that issue.
