    I recommend not doing what the previous owner did over our fireplace, which was to run an extension cord through the wall to get power up to the TV o_O

    I redid the tile and mantle for ours as well. We did a 2"x4" marble subway tile and a simple white mantle and it looks much better than what was there previously.

    Most recent picture I have, but missing the crown molding. I had to get the top on there for the holidays for decorations :laugh:

    Yeah I know what wireless is . We still always hardwire all our media locations in new construction though

    and I don't even live under a rock .

    It’s where the main cable box is so I’m pretty sure it has to be wired in. So yeah I need a Receptacle box installed behind the tv.

    Don’t want to rely on the wireless connection either.
