I didn't remove the grill or the headlight. The corner light yes, but that just comes right off.

I'm sure it would be much easier to put back into place if you remove those other parts but you don't need to.

In that case you might have to remove those and the grill, I don't know how the grill and headlights work with one another. But all I had to do was take the bolts for the fender the off and yank the fender out. Putting it back on was a little tricky but I got it done in maybe 30 minutes.

I nearly decided to remove the grill because I was having a hard time working it into place, but I eventually got it to go in.

Not sure if it matters, but isn’t your 4banger a 2.7l, that one says 2.4l on the bag.

    Congrats on the supercharger btw

2RZ and 3RZ are pretty much identical in exception of the bore.

I figured it out, brought my manifold to a local Toyota dealer and the gasket I have is for the exhaust end of the EGR pipe pipe. I picked up the proper one for the EGR body.

    $10 too... damn stealership.

Here’s the part number for anyone who needs it.

Additionally, just dropped off the manifold at a local machine shop. I’m having the two EGR stud holes re-welded, machined, and re-rapped along with a jetwash. $110 for that, not bad.

How long do the lower bearings on shocks last? The little metallic balls the lower bolt goes thru I can’t remember the actual name

    1 wheeling season for me.

Spherical bearings - COM10T is the part number for most applications.

shockseals.com has them. @Squeaky Penguin said the part number already.

I bought a couple sets of seals from them for bypass shocks as recommended by a rebuilder on here and one of these days I'll try to write up the rebuild.

So back in April of last year, I ordered retro (89-95) tailgate graphics. Finally put them on today. :smack: excellent quality, satisfied with the results.
graphics were ordered from http://jamesdeancreations.com/pretacomalogos.htm although, if I had known about @CBoy808 back when I ordered these, I would've ordered from him.

Those are spherical bearings, Wheelers sells them and a lot of other places too. I got about 20k out of the ones on my Kings before they started making so much noise I needed to replace them. Easy enough to do and cheap. Hitting them with dry lube helps quiet them down but after awhile they need replacing.

If you feel like they need replaced they aren’t hard to do, and if you go too long without repacking you could end up with a much bigger bill

@BartMaster1234 how much did you pay for that SC? Was it local or on here. CBA paying 3500xx for a new one.

I paid around $2,000 for it with a brand new AEM Methanol Injection kit. Bought it from a member on here through a private deal.

Not a good deal, not a bad deal. However the original TRD superchargers for the 3RZ are stupid rare, they were made by Alpine for TRD for only a few years before they were discontinued. For every twenty five v6 superchargers, there is one I4 supercharger. You can still buy TRD stamped I4 SC's from LC Engineering.

Considering the rarity of an original SC I think what I paid is perfectly fair and competitively priced with the market.

I'm really curious to as if you like it, I've also been trying to keep an eye, but I think I will end up paying the piper.

Something about a SC makes me giddy with joy.

It would be the LC kit if I do buy one.
