    I still can’t believe they stopped making these. Perfect Wrangler competitor, but with bigger blind spots. I’d def own one (right after a T4R).

    Actually due to no new tundra yet, did the FJC.

    When new tundra comes, it will replace our 19 SR taco thats on the farm

    I didnt want third party lockers etc, thus orange didn’t work out

    I am ok with my special edition red :)

    I looked at local FJs out of interest. Found a cement with 40-50 (can’t recall exactly) in the low 30s. Was pretty shocked at how well they hold value.

    Leaning into her for a T4R trade in still :)

    They are out there
    But you gotta pay a pretty penny

    I love the 4 runners - but i see them all day. Being on budget and driving something rare where i live is nearly impossible

    I saw 3 mclarens and 2 aventadors today
    I didnt see any red FJ :)

    For me orange and red were only consideration. For any other color FJ - I rather have a 200 series or 4runner :)

    Oh it isn’t my search - it’s all persuasion. I know what I want her to have :rofl:

    I’d love to have an old 3.4L Tacoma but no way I’d pay for it, and there’s a ton of em here anyhow. Plus this thing looks fantastic, zero issue, and it’s got a manual gearbox.

    For her I’d love her to have a bone stock T4R Pro for me to mall crawl with or use for road trips. Currently owns a Subaru Outback that I’m waiting to explode because their engines are dumpster fires

    Was planning on only changing things i need.

    Mods so far:

    1) all interior led - needed as interior too dark

    2) rear tail, reverse, license plate, mirror led -unnecessary and expensive mod

    3) driver armrest refoam -needed, plastic was hitting arm

    4) rear fj spare cover - unnecessary

    5) rear door faded window trim -aesthetics

    6) carplay/new headunit pioneer ordered

    7) grab handles for rear passenger - necessary for kids

    $991 spent

    If one takes their time and looks hard, some good FJ's are still out there. About a year ago, I bought a 2014 FJ NSSE (Not So Special Edition) that is all white (Iceberg), very clean, 22,300 miles and has the backout kit on it. Enjoy yours, mine is my camping/fishing vehicle.

    Ahhh...I think you are correct that a true NSSE is an FJ that has the Army Green coloring (body and roof) of a Trail Teams FJ. I stand corrected, I thought the NSSE was any FJ that had the color scheme of a Trail Teams FJ but not all the options. Mine looks the same as the 2008 Trail Teams FJ. I will have to post a picture.

    Anyway enjoy yours and you taught me some more about my FJ.
