    Nahh it’s the third time it’s done it in the 4+ years I’ve owned it. I think it’s telling me to UPGRADE. Need one of the gravity feed sized ones where that hopper is just for the pellets.

I learn so much from this thread. special thanks to@Cold Iron. I got two Prime 2in ribeyes at costco and seared at close to 700* then layed off to finish. cut one horizonal so wifes would be well, grey. Yuk! mine was 129* and the best ive done. still scared of the reverse sear dont want to over cook. pickled some eggs too for Easter!

    Best thing to ensure a good reverse seat is a temp probe to monitor. Worth the effort! Which is really just a little more time.

    Looks good though.:thumbsup:
