    The one thing I never liked about the Pro is the scoop. I just don't get Toyota's fascination with non functional scoops.

    Oh it functions really well ... driving west in the late afternoon it works PERFECTLY to deflect the sun right in your eyes :cool:

    I actually tried to trade mine for a non-scoop hood right when I got my Pro, was amazed at how many TRD OR owners went crazy over it.

    If anything, I bet Toyota is fascinated with Tacoma buyers' fascination with the hood bulge.

    1 of 75! I'm trying to imagine how the collectible aspect will play out. I mean 30 yrs down the road, will ppl be gawking at it at a car show & paying premiums at auctions? I could see it going either way.

    Still, interesting to see prices haven't come down much ... I mean that thing would still sell for what he was asking back then when it was almost brand new.
    Hope he didn't sell it to get the then-brand-new 3rd gen :anonymous:
