@SCRunner12 found myself in Santa Cruz today. Thoughts on Betty Burger? Didn’t have quite the appeal I remember...

Strange, all the 8s I've seen have them on the grill. Might have been a design change to the 05 with the gasket.

    F that shit...haha

I never found it great for the price. For burgers I go to Parish Publick House in Aptos or Westside Santa Cruz. Awesome burgers and great beer selection. What location did you go to?

If they haven't been engage for awhile, might take some time, tricks to get them to, it might even make a hard clunk going in.
If it doesnt want to go in, put in neutral, engage with no beeping sound. Put in drive and reverse. Move slightly.

Well shit. Thanks Ted. Just need to get my dads truck squared away before I tear down mine. Waiting to see if @Fernando's whiteline work before ordering stuff for my front end. I'm thinking spindle gussets, lca bushings, tie rod ends, and while the skids are off, nut serting some holes for one of the skids. I dont like how it currently mounts

Let me double check the calendar, but sounds like as good a day as any. I need to reboot my halfshafts too if you're willing guide me on that. Had one give up on me. I can swap in my spare for now so theres no damage done or significant rush

Thinking of ordering those red boots for the inners

You may want to consider swapping coolant too.

You're definitely thinking along the right lines, but what you may have missed is that when you increase travel and lengthen brake lines, you may as well install new bumpers and save yourself some time.

And if you're doing bumpers you may as well swap gears in the diff and add a RTT.

Lol, totes joking by the way... that's how most of us get our significant others on board with new mods.
