I bought a complete bumper and only needed the top pad and the composite structures under the caps. Was repairing my stock bumper with tech package.

 

ah damn okay, I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative, preferably something that's just replaces those wings and not a full bumper. thanks!

 

They do make aluminum replacement wings!

 

I saw those really cool ones from dissent( hope I spelled it correctly) but they were like 500. no doubt t worth it after looking at the weld quality but still a little steep for me atm

 

are you looking for better durability or looks? You can get flat black ones (unpainted) if you just hate chrome, or color matched caps.

 

both, looks at first until I poked around the stock wings and felt them for the first time :/

 

Yeah the whole assembly is pretty flimsy. Had I known I couldn’t run a steel bumper without losing half of my tech package, I would have looked for a truck without tech package.
