And I just realized this wasn’t the lunch table


I put gas in my truck today and sighed

 

It’s like half half.

My 5 lug is immaculate
My 6 lug is a rust bucket

 

Wasn't your frame replaced?

 

On the 6 lug so it’s way less rusty now lol

Did you get your wiring issue all sorted out?

 

Well got the lower heim bearings replaced on my icons, didn’t solve my creaking and popping noises. I’m back to my original theory that it’s the energy suspension poly rack bushings. So one night after work, I’m gonna pull the bolts out of the rack and grease them the hell out the bushings.
The noise is loud and I can’t live with it lol

 

What grease did you use when you put the bushings in? I hadn’t many issues with creaks from my poly bushings till I used energy suspensions grease

 

Those AllPro's love to creak and squeak. Greasing the shackles gives it probably two weeks before it starts all over again, haha.

 

Pulled the harness. Cleaned with bracken. Replaced electrical grease. Works like a champ now

I didn’t use any grease at all on the rack bushings, didn’t think I needed it.

Ah yes I remember.

 

Easy to test, spray some dry lubricant directly onto the bearings and if the creaking/clunking goes away temporarily you'll know it's them. Most likely is if you know it's coming from the coilovers, otherwise it could be the UCAs

 

Oh.. yea use grease lol. They creak like a mofo dry.. but use the right stuff

 

The main eye on the passenger side All Pros is popping like mad, I'm about to tear them out and just buy some effing Alcans already.

 

I’m soo happy I got deavers.. they never make a sound, but the decrease in capacity kinda sucks a little

 

I only notice the noise when I'm going low speed over a pothole, speedbump, or raised surface such as turning out from a driveway. I never hear it otherwise.

 

Mine started like that but it's gotten to where it's constant if the truck is moving. Checked everything, torque, grease, bushings, multiple times.

 

I hope that fixes it. The other thing it could be if I got a bad tie rod. I replaced inner/ outer tie rods and LBJs at the same time as the bushings
