I recently saw a Pro for just under 64k at my local dealer. They are on CRACK.

My Offroad now shits on that pro for wayyyy less. King 2.5 adj. resi front and rear Billet delta joint UCA, JBL, leather, multi terrain select. I even got a free hood scoop, all for closer to 43k...

20k less then asking, with much better parts. I rest my case.

    Toyota of Oxnard. Calif.

They should sell him that OR at cost and pay him $ to be seen with those rims.

I paid 41k for mine. Does that mean I made 23k just by buying it? Sweet!

Biggest mistake youe bud can make is buying everything you want at once (let alone pre-built at once)....a week down the road you'll find 20 other things you wish you had. Buy a stock OR and build as you go. You don't even have to pace yourself, just don't buy it all in the same day, haha. I remember asking my dealer how much it would cost for them to install the pro grill, pro rims, and a few other silly add ons before purchasing my OR. I came to my senses before I even got quote...Boy am I happy I didn't do any of that - everything I now have is completely different and "better".

This isn't even considering what is likely a huge ripoff from the dealer for the prebuild.

    A few.
A problem with buying a truck like that is your financing everything into the loan and that will put you upside with negative equity in a hurry. If u buy stock all extras can be for with cash and not pay interest on it.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
The days of buying a modded vehicle that had actual value added from a dealership pretty much ended with Yenko, Baldwin-Motion, Royal Pontiac, Grand Spaulding Dodge, etc.

The buffet of crap that goes on things like Tacomas is to lure the budget un-conscious into profitable mods by allowing it to be financed as part of the deal.

Lifts, tires, wheels, tint are the undercoating, upholstery treatment and pin-striping of yester-year.

And no, it's not 'under warranty'. Other than what the part supplier offers as warranty, and 'maybe' some dealer labor. NOT Toyota warranty.

A study of repos would be interesting. I'd wager that dealer modded vehicles might lead the list, as the buyers are often living on the financial edge.

But ricer headlights, hood scoop and stickers though :D

Other than the Fox shocks the Pro looks like Toyota found the "Buy it Now" button on Ebay. Even the PRO wheels look like shitty knockoffs of the 4Runner sema wheels.

Anyone can feel free to say im wrong.....but im not LOL

My issue with buying a brand spanking-new $45,000 Pro is the same I had with buying a brand spanking-new $50,000 Rubicon: if you don’t wanna scratch it then you are just buying it for sho.

I’m enjoying buying an Off-Road and adding things to it little by little.

Hey whats up Yota faithful, took me a little while but she's finally done.

That was before.............. this is after!

Bilstein 2.5in lift, 2.5 front, 1.25 in rear
4runner matt black wheels with black lugs
    Nitto 265/70R17
    removed TRD Offroad stickers
black out emblems and black tailgate inserts
    TRD Pro grill

It has a .25 rake witch is perfect for me

TRD-Offroad with all these options worked better for me, but everyone has a different opinion so do what works you.
    Love the MANUAL trans
