That's exactly what I was thinking.
When I went through the marksmanship academy they preached bold corrections over small ones. That stuck.

I don't think 4.88's will be worth the cost whereas 5.29's will be a hell of a step up.

Dang that seems steep! Switching from 3:55 to the fab 4:11 is what puked my stock car motor! but, boy, I loved that feeling while it lasted!

Nah not yet. I just looked up the codes on my door placard and found out I had 4.56's. I thought I had 4.10's.

I need to do the math to see what my highway RPM's will be. The truck loves 85mph, the police do not. I'm willing to bring the RPM's up and the speed down a bit.

    Glad to hear it!
Catching up on beers, didn't really get started on my CV boots today. I did some homework so it should be a quick process tomorrow. Might try to tackle the R/R tomorrow too depending on how froggy I'm feeling after.

Still set on swapping over to the gen 2.5 front end? I need some pics of what's going on behind the grill on that pelfreybilt bumper and your turtle.

Not according to the codes listed on the thread and what's on my door placard. I could be mistaken though. It was a few days ago and I've gone through several beers since. I'll post it up in a minute, gotta dig up the thread again

Lol it's different hearing someone rooting for 5AM, but I guess the "5 o'clock somewhere" phrase is fairly nonspecific

Doing alright my friend, lounging on the couch catching up on some TW

Im thinking thats the plan still. Will get you some pics in the morning when there is some better light. Basically just a gap there and the grill sits below the bumper further since the 12-15 grille sits up higher

Follow that link, I originally thought I had 3.73's. Then I read somewhere the O/R's had 4.10's. Apparently some of the 6spd O/R's have 4.56's
