    this is a common issue on older vehicles from when the switch to TIS was made.. not many people replacing axles in the dealers anymore. usually outsourced to other shops

    if you go too far the seal in the axle housing will miss the retainer making a massive leak.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    makes sense, the ABS tone rig should operate as long as it is somewhat in range of the sensor id imagine you could use calipers to get it all right

    the tone ring is held in by the retainer. the retainer is what im really worried about because thats what the seal rides on. if you go to far you gotta cut and buy another
